The Heiland Lecture, sponsored by the Department of Geophysics at the Colorado School of Mines, is given each week by a distinguished speaker from academe, industry, or government on a topic pertinent to the geosciences. The lecture series is a public event open to all members of the CSM community and beyond.
Information for Speakers
The host as listed in the schedule is the contact person for speakers. For air travellers the nearest airport is Denver International Airport (DIA). Depending on the time of day it takes about 45 to 90 minutes to drive from the airport to Golden. Click here for maps and directions. Super Shuttle runs a shuttle between the airport and any location in the Golden area.
